Great advice! (and this is coming from a Gen X'er). The only one that made me stop and question it was #9. Bad friends are the surest way to derail yourself from learning the lessons of all the rest, and they can easily keep you from moving forward.

I'm the biggest superhero nerd, so I'm super glad you wrote this. I definitely do think we have more influence over the world than we think.

And now that it's finals week the "determination" trait is especially resonating with me. You've given me motivation! I won't just study to get a good grade; I'll study to be a superhero. Well, more of a superhero than I already am. ;)

Hi Shannon could u give me some advice? I've been suspended from my work, likley to get the sack and the odds are not in my favour though I know I haven't actually done anything wrong. What would you do or do you do in times when everything's looking a bit bleak to keep yourself motivated and positive?
